Can I cancel my order once placed?Your order can be canceled for a full refund if it is canceled before the end of the ordering deadline. Once the ordering deadline has passed if you need to cancel we can cancel delivery but we will not be able to refund the order.

Can I edit my order once placed?Unfortunately, at this time orders can not be changed online once your submit your order. Please contact us if you have any needed modifications. All food is made to order. We can not gurantee changes but we will make every effort if possible.

Can I place two orders each week to be delivered on separate days?We would love to deliver to you more than once a week as long as we deliver twice to your location. However, the orders will need to be placed separately. Be sure to click here look at our current delivery schedule. Please be aware that this schedule can change and is updated regularly.

I did not receive an email order confirmation. What happened? What can I do to fix this?We are so sorry you are having an email issue. Hopefully this will help... WHAT HAPPENED? We also regularly test our automated email responses and 99% of email issues are receiver related. All emails (direct, transactional, or marketing) sent or triggered by their respective systems is received based on numerous factors once that email leaves its respective system (i.e. personalized spam filtering levels or security settings, an email provider's inbox segmentation features (automated or pre-set), what email program used, etc…The other 1% of email issues are the rare moment the our hosted server went down. WHAT CAN I DO TO FIX IT? Here is a list of the most common reasons an email is not received: Not allowing enough time to process Connection problems Sender doesn’t have the correct email address Emails are marked as SPAM Browser settings In most cases your email can be easliy problem solved by searching online or contacting your email provider. Is there a minimum order?Our order minimum is $99.

How often do I have to order?There is no obligation or subscription. Simply order by Tuesdays on the weeks you would like deliveries.

How do I place and order?It’s as EASY as 1-2-3! 1. Subscribe to JK website…enter name and email 2. Browse weekly menu by clicking SHOP Now button 3. Order by Tuesdays at 8:00pm for weekend delivery.

When is the ordering deadline?Orders need to be placed by Tuesday’s at 8:00pm for delivery on Sat. or Sun. mornings between 7:30 and 11:00. Don’t worry, we send several email reminders for you to order!

When do the weekly menus come out?New Menus come out on Wednesdays, you will be delighted with the variety of choices! It is helpful for us if you order as early as possible to help simplify our shopping and preparations. When ordering think ahead…are you having company? Do you need lunches for work? Quick breakfasts or snacks for school kids?

What type of ingredients does Jennie’s Kitchen use?We pride ourselves in using the best possible quality ingredients…extra virgin olive oil, organic produce whenever available, grass fed meats, specialty pastas, artisanal products and spices.

Is the menu always the same?Although you will often find many of the same favorites in our “Classics” category, our menu changes weekly…you will find new and exciting items to choose from. Our Menu is an expression of our creativity and love for flavors from around the world…we encourage you to try new things!

Is there a monthly fee?Good news! No monthly fee, set up fee, or commitment required. Simply order for the weeks that are convenient for you! Order minimum each week is $99.

Do you have Gift Certificates?Yes, Jennie’s Kitchen is a fabulous present! Perfect for birthdays, holidays or get well soon gifts. Sending a box of Jennie’s Kitchen meals is a wonderful way to help a friend who need is going through a difficult time and needs some love or support. Who wouldn’t love a box full of delicious food?

Is Jennie’s Kitchen expensive?Our minimum order is $99. This will typically provide 3 full meals. Many clients have commented that Jennie’s Kitchen has cut their costs from ordering expensive take-out meals or throwing away wasted ingredients from the grocery store. Not to mention the time saved!

How do I know my order has been delivered?You will receive an email notification with a proof of delivery picture indicating where your box was placed. Also, an immediate Text notification letting you know your box has been delivered.

If I live in an apartment, will my box be delivered to my apartment door?Although we may be able to deliver directly to some apartment doors, unfortunately delivery drivers are not able to deliver directly to apartment doors in some circumstances. Our goal is to make sure all customers receive their boxes quickly and food is delivered fresh. Thank you for your understanding. We can deliver to your doorman or to your door whenever possible. If you have a specific concern or question regarding delivery that you are not able to find or get answered on our website, please reach out and contact us directly. How will I know how long to heat things?Jennie’s Kitchen items are all Labeled with heating instructions, and indicate what side dishes, garnishes dressing or sauces go together.

Are the cooking instructions complicated?No, it’s easy! Our meals are mostly ready to heat and eat. You may have to toss a salad with our home made dressings or boil some pasta…but the goal is for you to have delicious stress free meals!

Is Jennie’s Kitchen good for Dinner Parties?Absolutely! Take the stress out of having company over. Just order larger sizes, put the meals in your own heating dishes and Voila! Gourmet dinner party in a flash! Wonderful for Book Clubs and small gatherings!

Are Jennie’s Kitchen meals Fresh or Frozen?Our meals are made locally from fresh ingredients and come ready to eat! However many items can be frozen and saved for future use. Some examples are soups, lasagnas, meat sauces, enchiladas, pot pies, burritos etc.

What is Jennie’s Kitchen?Jennie’s Kitchen started in NYC in 2008 delivering meals to a few private clients and has grown to delivering to over 500 families per week all through word of mouth. We recently expanded to San Diego and made our first deliveries in Oct of 2022. Our goal is to stock your fridge with fresh, mostly-prepared gourmet meals so that your meal times are satisfying and stress free! Think of us as your private chef!
